What’s the Dream Cast for such an interesting group of characters? This must be one helluva action movie (if made into one)!
Cyrus Hassani – I’ve gone back and forth on the casting of my hero, Cyrus Hassani. Quite a few actors would fit my vision, including Chris Pine, with his hair dyed black, and Ian Somerhalder with his dark hair and incredible eyes. However, I’m kind of leaning towards Matthew Goode, an English actor, 6’2”, who definitely has the acting chops to take on a role like Cyrus. You might remember him from Brideshead Revisited and Downtown Abbey. I like the fact that he’s not too big a star to make the role his own, and since I plan on the Tip of the Spear series continuing, Matthew Goode can play Cyrus for a long time.
Layla Rose Hassani – My dream Layla is definitely Zooey Deschanel. She’s got the fire, and the quirkiness that I envision in Layla. Those dark auburn tresses and turquoise blue eyes make her a natural for the part. Layla is a dream role for any actress, a strong character who is forced to make hard choices.
Cass Saladino – Cass is a part that requires a woman who can double as an action star. She’s got to be tough and vulnerable. She’s more than an FBI special agent, she’s a woman who is at the top of the Alpha male ladder, so I wanted a woman with muscle. I came up with Kathryn Winnick. Katheryn Winnick is an accomplished martial artist who holds a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo and a second-degree black belt in Karate. She is currently starring in the Emmy Award winning show Vikings.
David Weiss – My gorgeous, big hearted, FBI special agent, Cass’s sidekick, would be perfect for James Franco. He might think the role too small for him, but as Constantin Stanislavski said, “Remember: there are no small parts, only small actors.” David Weiss Played a huge role in my The Only One Series. I liked his character so much that I resurrected him for the Tip of the Spear Series
Ali Zandi – Casting a villain is always difficult, especially in this case where our villain is evil but very appealing. Collin Farrell is my number one choice for Ali. If you have a terrorist coming on to you, at least have him look like Collin. I think Collin would love this role. Ali is a tormented man. Evil has triumphed inside of him, but he’s reluctantly succumbed and he feels remorse.
Thanks a lot, Belle! Awesome choices, though I’m not familiar with some of the artists you mentioned. Gotta go look them up!
