Review:

I’ll never look at voodoo the same way again. I always thought voodoo is used to bring trouble to someone who’d maybe hurt you, and it’s certainly the case here. But, as also pointed out in this book, practitioners are encouraged to use it for the good. I like books that open and stretch my mind. The way the author mixes suspense with the paranormal (voodoo) makes this a fascinating read!

Trent is a doctor and he doesn’t believe he’d been cursed. But that’s exactly what Ciarra, the detective handling his case, believes. All he knows is that he’s attracted to her, and she is to him, too. And when he starts to get really sick, he’s afraid that he’ll never get his chance with her. The author sure kept me on the edge of my seat! All those near misses, those seeming coincidences compel me to read onward. Will Trent die or not? Can Ciarra save him in time? Guess you have to read this to find out!
